Upgrade and Tests of Purely Mechanical Over-speed Protection in Gezhouba Hydropower Station

分析了葛洲坝水电站水轮发电机原有过速保护可靠性的不足和安全方面的隐患,以及纯机械过速保护原理。纯机械过速保护改造补充和完善了保护功能,提高了可靠性和安全性。根据试验和初期运行情况提出了后期改造的建议。

The deficiency in reliability and hidden safety danger of original over speed protection system in Gezhouba Hydropower Station is analyzed.And the principle of purely mechanical over-speed protection system is introduced,which supplements and improves protection functions,enhances reliability and safety of the protection.According to the test results and early operation situation,suggestions for further upgrade are given.
