History of the Concepts:Interaction Practice between Language and Social Reality

概念史是通过研究概念在时间和空间中的移动、接收、转移和扩散来揭示概念是如何成为社会和政治生活过程的一种方法。在概念史的研究中,存在着"剑桥范式"和"海德堡范式"的区分,前者从概念与修辞之间的关系入手来研究概念史,而后者重点考察社会转型和概念变迁之间的关系。总体说来,两种范式都涌现一些代表性成果,但方法论层面并未达成一致。在当今形势下,概念史研究者通过加强文字和图像关联性的分析拓宽了研究领域。对概念史发展历程和趋势的考察,也为当代中国的概念史研究提供了借鉴。

History of concepts is a method which studies the concept＇s movement,reception,transferability and diffusion in time and space,and then reveals how concept insinuates itself into the process of social and political life.In the study of history of concepts,there is a distinction between Paradigm of Cambridge and Paradigm of Heidelberg.The former studies the relationship between concepts and rhetoric,while the later emphatically investigates the relationship between social transformation and vicissitudes of concept.In summary,both paradigms spring up some typical outcomes,but they can＇t reach a consensus in methodology.Researches on history of concepts have broadened the study field through strengthening relevant analysis of character and image in modern situation.An investigation into the progress and tendency of history of concepts will provide a reference for the study of history of concepts in China.
