本文以爱国主义为主线，从十个方面，对中华民族传统道德进行了论述，并用马克思主义的唯物史观对传统美德与精神文明建设的关系进行了分析，对在社会转型时期，如何继承和发扬中华民族优秀传统美德，加强社会主义精神文明建设提出了自己的见解。

This article has made a detailed description of the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation. It also made an analysis of the relationship between the traditional virtues and preserving and promoting morals and fine human traditions. The author makes some suggestions relating to carrying on the fine traditions of the Chinese nation and promoting socialist ethical and cultural progress.
