摘要
本文从认知心理学角度 ,把美国著名心理学家威特金的场依存性和场独立性研究结果用于大学英语教学实践中 ,强调在外语教学中应更加重视教师和学生的个人差异 。
Based on a detailed analysis of the research of H.A.Witkin,a famous American psychologist,this paper attempts to make a comparative study of the relationship of field dependent-independent cognitve styles to College English achievement .AS a result,the writer has proposed that more and more importance should be attached to the individual differences between teachers and students in language teaching,and that both 'field-dependence'and 'field -independence'should be flexibly practiced in diffterent teaching & learning conditions.
