The emphasis and difficulty of the drilled pile construction in karst areas is how to reduce the influence of complicated geology economically,safely and reasonably to complete the drilled pile construction.The paper introduces the technique of the drilled pile construction in karst areas and discusses the ways to avoid construction accident such as the prevention of hole misregistration,leakage and collapse which have achieved remarkable success in the drilled pile construction.
