A study tour is a travel experience with specific learning goals, and it emphasizes experiential learning and offers both group and self-directed activities that enable learners to explore new territories, cultures, and people. As one of the most popular tourist destinations in Anhui Province, Huangshan City enjoys advantageous resources for study-tour development. This paper analyzes the status quo of study- tour development in China and the advantages to develop them in Huangshan, and it proceeds to propose the principles and strategies for such a development.
