The Special Syntactic Matching Formulas of the Reduplicated Monosyllabic Verbs in the Kunming Dialect

本文主要讨论昆明话单音节动词的重叠式。昆明话动词重叠之后能够带各种各样的补语成分,如:数量补语、结果补语、趋向补语及某些助词;动词重叠式之前还可以有形容词重叠式、副词等修饰成分。从语法功能看,昆明活动词重叠在一定条件下可以表达完成体的语法意义。昆明话可以重叠的动词要比普通话多。

This paper discusses the special syntactic matching formulas of the reduplicated monosyllabic verbs in the Kunming dialect. There are some kinds of complements after the reduplicated verbs, such as quantitative complements, resultant complements, directional complements and some particles in the Kunming dialect. Furthermore before the reduplicated verbs there may be modification by reduplicated adjectives and adverbial components. From the viewpoint of grammatical function, the reduplicated verbs in the Kunming dialect can express perfect aspect in certain conditions. There are more verbs which can be reduplicated in the Kunming dialect than in the Mandarin.
