桂阳县属湖南双方言区。境内除通行桂阳话(属西南官话)外,当地居民一般讲本地土话。本文主要描述敖泉土话,内容包括:①敖泉土话的声韵调;②敖泉土话的同音字汇。
Guiyang county is a bidialectural area in south Hu' nan province. Besides Guiyanghua (one variety of the Southwestern Mandarin), quite a few minor local dialects are spoken by the inhabitants. This paper describes the phonology of the Aoquan dialect and a syllabary of the Aoquan dialect.
