The ethnic group of Baihuo is also known as that of Baiguan. It was named after Stork chicken that had been taken as totem or worship by those people originally lived in Minshan Mountain. The Baihuo race replaced the Cancong race as the new king of Shu after their migra- tions to the Chengdu plain. In the tortuous process of migrations, they left some special place names with their clan marks, such as "Heyi', "Guankou', "Qushang". All the three genera- tions of kings of the Shu, namely Cancong, Baihuo and Yufu, had founded their capital cities in Qushang which could be the place called Sanxingdui.
