创先争优活动是以调动基层组织和共产党员的主动性、积极性为着力点,旨在为科学发展、社会和谐提供有力保证的先进性活动。教师党支部作为高校党的最基层组织之一,是学校党委联系广大师生员工的桥梁纽带,是高校党建和思想政治工作的基础。教师党支部适应新形势,不断改革创新,在切实发挥教工党支部的战斗堡垒作用和广大教工党员的先锋模范作用,团结带领广大教职员工,确保教学、科研和管理等各项任务顺利完成以及和谐校园的建设等方面具有重要的意义。

The activity of ＂Striving for Superiority＂ is to mobilize the initiative and enthusiasm of the members of CPC and the grass-roots organizations so as to provide an effective guarantee for the scientific development and a harmonious society.As one of the grass-roots organizations of the Party,Party branch for college teachers is a bridge to connect the Party committee with the faculty and students and is the basis for Party construction and ideological and political work in universities.So it should adapt to the new situation of reform and innovation and effectively play the exemplary role to unite the majority of the faculty,and to ensure that the tasks of teaching,research and management should be completed smoothly and a harmonious campus be built.
