老年人主观幸福感与应付方式的关系研究--基于河南省许昌市的调研

Correlation between Subjective Well-Being and the Coping Styles of the Elderly——Investigation in Xuchang of Henan Province

随机选取190名许昌市城乡老人进行问卷调查、量表测量和随机访谈,结果显示,老年人主观幸福感水平较高。当老年人遇到问题时采取的应付方式依次是解决问题、求助、合理化、退避、幻想和自责,且存在着性别差异;主观幸福感高的老年人多采用成熟型的应付方式,采用不成熟型应付方式的老年人幸福感则较低。

The purpose of the research is to find out the best coping styles to help the elderly enjoy high Subjective Well-Being,to prevent their mental disease effectively,to improve their psychological quality,and to provide theoretical references and realistic basis for elderly apartment and the same social institutions.A total of 190 elderly people were chosen and surveyed with the Questionnaires of the Subjective Well-Being and the Coping Styles randomly.The results indicate that China＇s urban elderly people have high level of SWB.General demographic variables are of no significant differences for elderly＇s SWB.The Coping Styles used by them are ranked in descending order as the solution of problems,requests for help,rationalization,retreat,fantasy,and self-blame.There is a gender difference in Coping Style.Most of the elderly with a high SWB adopt mature coping style,and people using the immature one have a lower SWB.Subjective Well-being and the Coping Styles correlate closely with each other.
