A translation quality assessment model with functional linguistic perspective put forward and revised by Si Xianzhu is an important model used for text translation quality assessment.All about its foundation basis,procedures and parameters have all explained clearly in this paper.Through the translation quality assessment for Wuzhen Service Guide,on the one hand,the effectiveness of the this model has been tested;on the other hand,it gives an objective translation quality assessment for Wuzhen Service Guide.Thus,numerous problems existing in current translation of travel guides emerge obviously.Therefore,some reflections and enlightenments can be obtained for further development of the translation career.
