舟山的羊府大帝信仰实为羊祜信仰,曾在某些岛屿极为兴盛,而在个别海岛至今方兴未艾,信徒颇众。舟山羊祜宫庙的变迁既渗透着舟山羊祜信仰的发展和变化,也具有一般寺庙载体变迁的典型意义。舟山羊祜信仰功能泛化,表现出流传海岛性、形式多样性和呈现杂揉性特点。

In Zhoushan,belief in Yang the Great is actually a Yanghu belief,which was flouring in some islands and is still prevalent in certain islands with a quite large number of believers.Apart from general changes similar to other temples＇,changes in Zhoushan＇s Yanghu temples are the indicators of development and transformation of Yanghu belief in Zhoushan.Zhoushan＇s Yanghu belief is extensive in functions,spread only in the islands,diversified in forms and miscellaneous in features.
