在易学家看来,世界由阴阳二气构成,阴阳对立而共体,相反而相成。天体运行,寒来暑往,人类演进,万物化生,都是阴阳运动变化和相互作用的结果。天地之道就是阴阳之道。乾卦象征天。天道刚健,是整个宇宙万有发展的原动力,一切生命运动的力量源泉,以此告知人们应该自强不息的道理。圣人设卦观象,乾卦六爻,每一爻都是时间和空间关系的不二组合,决定了事物在一定时间内的存在状态。君子法天,其最高境界是因时而动,知进知退,体现了易学家天人合一的根本思想。
