摘要
在高速发展的信息时代,信息的生产、传播发生了巨大的变化。作为信息主要载体之一的图书,其传统地位也受到前所未有的挑战。在校园中,随着学生读书量的减少,由此引发的阅读理解能力的下降以及读者日益脱离图书馆的倾向等诸多问题都显现出来。信息化走在世界前列的日本,这种现象就更加突出。该文以创价大学图书馆开展的全校读书运动Soka BookWave(SBW)为例,介绍了日本大学图书馆应对信息化浪潮冲击的多项举措,希望给我国高校图书馆的发展和功能定位带来一些启示。
In a rapidly developing information age, the manufacturing and transmission of information has changed tremendously. The traditional role of book, as a major carrier of information, is facing unprecedented challenges. On campus, the difficulties of comprehensive reading, the trend of abandoning library and other problems caused by the decrease of students' reading have been revealed. The phenomenal is more obvious in Japan, known as the pioneer of Information Technology. This article takes the reading movement Soka Book Wave(SBW), which is held by Soka University Library, as an example to introduce counter measures taken by the Japanese university libraries to against the impact of information technologies. It also provides a reference for Chinese university libraries' development and functional positioning.
