This article discusses the important twentieth century American poet John Berryman's poetry.Berryman's poetry found double heterogeneity in the Reality and Art of Poetry,and his representative works carried out this in an effective way.At the specific verse-writing level,the heterogeneous is unfolded mainly through its anti-lyrical multi-faceted subject,dramatic enigmatic language style and fragmentation art.In a sense,Berryman's creative practice presents a new language of modern poetry and writing direction towards a wide range of integrated exploration efforts.This offers a highly classic reference text for modern American poetry's transition from modernism to post-modernism.
