The sea trilogy,Under the Sea Wind,The Sea Around Us and The Edge of the Sea by Rachel Carson,is called a classic in American nature writing of the twentieth century.In the three works,Carson explains abstruse ecological knowledge with a vivid description of sea in her unique ecological perspective and a female view,which makes the three works abundant with literary imagination and scientific accuracy,presenting a beautiful and harmonious ecological prospect of sea.The sea trilogy reflects Carson's close attention to and deep reflection on the relationship between human and nonhuman nature and provides an implication for the transformation of relationship between human and the nonhuman nature and that between different people.By analyzing Carson's sea trilogy,this paper aims to explore deep ecofeminist thoughts in the three works and present Carson's intense ecological thoughts and feminist consciousness.
