摘要
OTA测试(天线性能测试)是无线设备认证测试时的一个重要测试项目。本文介绍了OTA测试的概念和相关标准组织对OTA测试的要求,并详细分析了3种OTA测试的解决方案及其优缺点。其中,原场静音暗室是目前主流的解决方案,但该系统投资巨大,建设难度高,如果不通过升级则不能测试带MIMO的终端;而混响暗室方案因其测速快、体积小、可以测试MIMO终端等优势受到了业界的广泛关注,并且于2011年12月通过了3GPP的认可。最后本文还分析了运营商进行OTA测试的必要性,并对运营商建设OTA测试方案提出了建设性意见。
OTA test(test for antenna performance) is one of the vital test items in wireless device authentication test. Concepts of OTA and requirements made by relevant standards is introduced in this paper, in addition, three solutions of OTA test are analyzed in detail. The original field electromagnetic anechoic chamber, one of the schemes, is one of the popular solutions currently. However, some problems arise in this system, including huge investment, high difficulty in construction and unabling to test MIMO terminal without upgrading. While the reverberation chamber enjoys a high reputation with its high test speed, small size and the ability to test MIMO terminal. What's more, this solution is authorized by 3GPP in 2011 December. Finally, constructive opinions are suggested in this paper, and shows that it is necessary to perform OTA testing for operators.
