The library website copyright policy is a declaration made by the library to show the fact that library respect the copyright owners＇ intellectual property, on the other hand, it has become a necessary behavior guide for library workers and readers to avoid being trapped in the risk of infringement. The copyright policies of the three American national library websites cover as follows： legal basis, confirming of rights, fair use, exemption clause, infringement form, library business instructions, commitment and network traffic security, which reflects a powerful spirit of specialization and humanity. Those policies mean a lot, but they still have some inadequacies. Nevertheless, they are worthy to be used for improvement for our national library copyright policies.
