A Retrospect of Studies on Core Competiveness of China's Universities in Recent Ten Years and the Prospect

我国开展大学核心竞争力研究大约已有10年,期间研究主要集中于大学核心竞争力的内涵、特征、构成要素以及培育与提升方面,总体上存在研究力量较为分散薄弱、缺乏严谨规范的研究范式、多学科研究推进仍然不够、研究有一定的疏漏甚或盲点等偏差和不足,针对上述问题,相关研究今后应在规范研究方法、填补研究空白、强化基础理论、核心竞争力识别与评价、提高对策建议可操作性等方面着力。

The core competitiveness of China＇s universities has been an interest of higher education research for almost ten years.In the recent decade,the research mainly focused on the following aspects：contents, characteristics ,elements ,cultivation and upgrade.Overall ,there are still some obvious drawbacks and deficiencies in these studies,including diverged research efforts,lack of rigorous research paradigm,and insufficient interdisciplinary coordination. Some oversights or even blind spots also existed in previous studies. In response to these problems,the future research on the core competitiveness of universities should focus on standardizing methods,filling the research gaps,strengthening the basic theories,establishing the rules for identification and evaluation, and improving the operability of policy proposals.
