Analysis of China’s Timber Imports Status Quo and Its Facing Situation

文章分析了我国原木进口现状,研究了我国原木进口面临的形势,指出由于进口来源不稳定、打击非法采伐和木材合法性认证以及境外林业投资门槛提高等原因,我国原木进口形势十分严峻。据此,为缓解木材供需矛盾提出相应对策建议。

Timber is the main raw material of wood processing industry. With the rapid development ofChina＇s national economy and wood processing industry, the imbalance between supply and demand of timber appeared gradually and the dependency on imports increased substantially .This essay firstly analyzes China＇ s timber im- ports status quo, and then studies the facing situation. It points out that China＇s timber imports will face a sever situation because of the unstable importing market, combating the illegal logging and timber legality certification. Besides, the foreign investment threshold in forestry will also increase. Finally it puts forward some suggestions to ease the imbalance of wood supply and demand.
