The quantitative formulae Kellicutt and Makee are the major methods of calculating the compression strenth of corrugated paper boxes. An example is cited to show the two formulas. A comparsion is made between the results of the two models with some useful conclusions Obtained. A computer-aided design programming is put forward, which makes the calcualting more precise and more reasonable.
