This paper introduces the advantages of using optical fiber transmission in CATV,and then introduces the development of Gigabit network technology and the functions of Gigabit optical fiber transceiver in gigabit network.Then,this paper discusses the system mode of Gigabit fiber transceiver according to the latest gigabit network chip,and the management strategy of Gigabit fiber transceiver according to the system design.Finally,this paper gives a brief requirement in equipment test.
