生态平衡是生态环境生态化过程中物质、信息、能量循环的一种相对的稳定状态。高等教育系统的生态平衡是高等教育系统内部各组成部分之间利益均衡的状态。《高等教育生态论》提供了一个从生态学理论系统分析高等教育生态环境运行的崭新视角,为深入认识并解决高等教育系统运行中存在的生态问题提供了可行性路径——生态化。在当下高等教育语境中,生态化的发展趋向是高等教育生态系统走向平衡的过程,是高等教育可持续发展的愿景。

Ecological balance is a relatively stable state of material, information, energy cycle in ecological process of ecological environment. Ecological balance of higher education system is the interest equilibrium state within each component of the higher education system. ＂Ecological Theory of Higher Education＂ provides a brand--new perspective for systematic analysis the ecological environment operation of higher education from the theory of ecology, provides a feasible path--ecology to deeply understand and solve the running system of higher education in the presence of the ecological problems. In the present context of higher education, the development trend of ecology is the process heading for ecological system balance of higher education system and the sustainable development vision of higher education.
