A brief introduction about the structure and foundamental rotation theory of switch unit in switched reluctance motor is given.Based on the linear model,the torque of switch unit is theoretically analyzed and calculated,from which two controlling methods of switch unit is put forward:low speed cutting wave control and high speed mono pulse control.
