“这个教参是个鸦片烟”辨正

Clarification of the ＂This Reference Saying by Ye Shengtao Book is an Opium＂

教参是教师开展教学的重要指南,它对于深入推进课程改革具有重要的指导意义。近年来,教参功能的孰是孰非引起了不少的争论。在＂教参存废＂论争中,不少研究者引用叶圣陶先生所说的＂这个教参是个鸦片烟＂来论证教参的弊端。笔者通过考证发现,此说缘自部分研究者的转述,而非出自叶圣陶先生本人的观点。这不能反映叶圣陶先生对教参的一贯看法,更不能将之视为叶圣陶先生的学术结论。文章通过对这一问题的辩析,厘清教参的功能定位,以期改进教参的编制,推进新课程改革的有效实施。

There are quite a few researchers who often quote the saying by Ye Shengtao ＂ This reference book is an opium＂ to demonstrate the disadvantages of reference book among the argument about preserving or cancelling reference book. However, through investigation, this saying is found that not directly quoted from Ye＇ s works, but from Zhou Zhengkui＇ s retailing in the interview by Wang Li. Therefore, this saying should not be regarded as Ye＇ s academic thought on reference book. That is to say, great caution should be taken when quoting this saying, and objective attitude should be adopted when viewing the history and re- ality of Chinese reference book.
