论翻译视域下的文学研究——从“翻译匠”谈起

On Translation-oriented Literary Studies

对于文学翻译工作者来说,文学研究是从事文学翻译不可缺少的一部分。本文主要以诠释学为理论基础,在肯定作者本意的前提下,论证了文学研究的必要性,指出文学研究可以有效地修补译者和作者在历史文化背景和个体知识结构等方面的差距。在文学翻译的视野下,源语世界的文学研究重在对各种批评方法的合理利用,而译语世界的文学研究则有助于提升译者的文学和语言素养,二者从理解和表达两个方面为作品神韵的传译提供了有力的保障。

To a translator of literary works, literary study is an indispensable part of his efforts. Under a hermeneutic perspective, this paper reveals the must of literary studies on the basis of due respect for the writer＇s intention by pointing out that literary studies can markedly shrink the gap between the translator and writer. Translotion--oriented literary studies, in the source language world focus on a reasonable use of various critical approaches to literature, while in the target language world highlight an enhancement of the translator＇s literary and language attainments so as to best secure the conveyance of the spirit in the translation process.
