临床检验项目的生物学变异在很大程度上影响临床检验质量规范的制定，并进一步影响临床检验结果的质量。每个实验室应该根据自身情况了解生物学变异。检验人员也应该了解生物学变异的制定方法，包括有研究对象的选择、样本的采集、处理及存储以及数据的分析。此外，检验人员还应该了解生物学变异具有一致性的特征，可以通过查询当前国际上相关的数据库，帮助临床实验室减轻工作量，减少实验室误差，提高检验服务的质量。

Biological variation of analytes has a great impact on the establishment of quality specification and the result of clinical laboratory,each laboratory thus should confirm their biological variation themselves. Laboratory personnel should al- so understand the measures of the establishment for biological variation, including objects selection, collection, handling and reserve of the sample ,and the data analysis. Moreover, laboratory personnel should recognize that biological variation has the feature of consistency,and they can refer to the relative database worldwide in order to help reducing their load and the labo- ratory errors,improving the service quality in the end.
