2012年4月,国家大剧院以一部自己制作的瓦格纳《漂泊的荷兰人》拉开第四届歌剧节的帷幕。早在歌剧节开幕前一个月,这部意大利名导强卡洛.德.莫纳科所称的"前所未有"的宏大制作便吊足了观众的胃口,国际大牌和明星团队组成的强大演出阵容更赚足观众的眼球。更值得一提的是,"全华班"的B组阵容似乎向中国的瓦格纳迷昭示:中国自己的瓦格纳制作已经近在眼前了。

OUTLINE/ The NPCA opened its 4^(th) Opera Festival last month with its own production of Der fliegende Hollander.A month before the Festival's opening,this ambitious production was touted as 'unprecedented' by director Giancarlo del Monaco,who assembled a double cast of overseas and Chinese singers.In fact,the all-Chinese cast and their performances have signaled to opera fans that an allChinese Wagner production is poised to grace the nation's stage.
