摘要
智能天线是移动通信系统中的关键技术,智能天线技术的核心是自适应波束形成算法。最小均方(Least Mean Square,LMS)算法是一种常用的波束形成算法,收敛速度和稳态误差是决定算法性能的主要因素。为了兼顾收敛速度和稳态误差两个方面的要求,该文基于步长控制对经典LMS算法进行了改进。算法将固定步长因子改为一个简化的步长因子计算式,使其可以随迭代次数调整。仿真结果表明,算法具有较快的收敛速度和较小的稳态误差。
Smart antenna becomes one of the key technologies of mobile communication systems,and adaptive beamforming algorithm is a crucial problem of the smart antennas.Least Mean Squares(LMS) algorithm is a common adaptive beamforming algorithm.Besides,conver gence speed and steady state error are main factors to determine algorithm performance.For consideration to convergence speed and steady state error,an improved algorithm based on step control is proposed in this paper.The fixed step factor is replaced by simple formula of step factor,so the step size changes with iteration times.Simulation results show that this algorithm has higher convergence speed and lower steady state error.
