摘要
鹌鹑po藻酸双酯钠8 wk能明显抑制高脂饮食所致的血清TC,(LDL+VLDL)—C水平的升高,提高HDL—C及HDL_2—C水平,并可提高HDL—C/TC及HDL_2—C/HDL_3—C值。给药组动物动脉壁TC及CE含量较高脂对照组明显降低,CE/TC值亦降低。说明藻酸双酯钠能明显减少胆固醇,特别是能减少胆固醇酯在鹌鹑动脉壁中的沉积。
Propylene glycol alginate sodium sulfate(PSS)is a new type heparinoid extracted from brown algae.This study was designed to investigate the influence of PSS on serum and arterial wall cholesterol in quails.51 male Japanese quails,8 weeks of age,body wt.105±SD 9 g,were divided into 3 groups at random.Group Ⅰ:on hypercholesterol diet(containing 1% cholesterol)and PSS(20 mg·kg-1·d-1 po); Group Ⅱ: on hypercholesterol diet; Group Ⅲ:on stock diet.Serum TC,HDL-C and HDL3-C were analyzed by the enzymic method every 4 weeks in the experimentalperiod.(LDL+VLDD-C,HDL-C/TC and HDL2-C/HDL3-C ratios were calculated.At the end of 8 weeks,the aortic TC,FC were measured by the Cho's method.The results showed that PSS could inhibit the increased cholesterol in group I as compared with group Ⅱ.PSS significantly elevated the HDL-C/TC and HDL2-C/HDL3-C ratio.PSS could also inhibit the deposition of cholesterol and its ester in the arterial wall.
