新闻报道中文化专有项的翻译与译者的动态顺应性选择

On the Translation of Culture-Specific Items in News Report and Translator's Dynamic Adaptation and Selection

作为对外交流和宣传的重要工具,新闻报道的翻译变得越来越重要。为了增加新闻报道的可读性和趣味性,新闻报道中经常使用由东西方不同社会经济文化差异而形成的文化专有项,译者在新闻报道文化专有项翻译活动中表现出文本和文化构建的能动性。文章试图从Jef.Verschueren语用顺应理论视角探讨新闻翻译中存在的问题,及译者在新闻翻译中发挥的主体性作用。由于语言具备变异性、商讨性、顺应性的特点,译者在商贸新闻翻译中从可供选择的项目中做出灵活的变通和选择,从而使新闻翻译能够做到既准确传达又让国外受众喜闻乐见。

As a significant vehicle for foreign communication and promotion, the translation of culture- specific items has become more and more important. In order to increase the legibility and readability of news report, culture-specific items are often used, which embodies the positive role of textual and cultural construction on the part of the translator when translation. By applying Verschueren＇s pragmatic Adaptation Theory, this paper is intended to analyze problems in news report translation and the translator＇s subjectivity in news translation. Under its framework, language has three characteristics： variability, negotiability and adaptability. By the angle of Adaptation Theory, the translator makes dynamic choices and adopts flexible strategies from possible terms in the translation of news report to ensure that foreign audience can have correct and delighted acceptance of the original information.
