摘要
通过对 Nd:YVO4晶体吸收特性的研究 ,对全固态 Nd:YVO4激光器中晶体的 Nd3 + 掺杂浓度在强光抽运条件下对激光输出特性的影响进行了分析 ,得出了激光器的输出功率和斜效率与晶体掺杂浓度的对应关系。对晶体长度为 5 mm,掺杂浓度分别为 0 .5% ,0 .7%和 1 .0 at- %的大功率全固态 Nd:YVO4激光器的输出进行了比较 ,实验与分析结果符合得较好。利用掺杂为 0 .5%的Nd:YVO4晶体 ,在抽运光功率为 5.1 W时获得 3.1 W的 TEM0 0 模激光输出 ,斜效率达到 71 %。
The characteristics of the laser output for an all solid state LD pumped Nd∶YVO 4 laser is studied. By taking account of the loss of cavity as a function of the Nd 3+ doped concentration, a new expressions of the laser output power and the slope efficiency as a function of the doped concentration are obtained, which are coincident with the experimental results quite well. With a Nd∶YVO 4 crystal of 0.5%, doped concentration and pumped by 5.1 W, the output power of the laser with TEM 00 mode is 3.1 W, and the slope efficiency is 71%.
