《春尽江南》于2011年8月出版,这部小说是格非《人面桃花》三部曲的收官之作。《人面桃花》《山河入梦》《春尽江南》均创作于新世纪,分别写了国民革命早期、五六十年代和当下的中国。作者用优雅、精致、坚韧的语言一步步地逼近现实,用花家舍的兴衰消解了乌托邦的神话,并在这个过程中展示了人类各种情感的幻灭与破碎以及命运的无常与宿命感。虽然言辞之间可见淡淡的悲伤与无奈,却也大大迥异于创作初期的虚无主义和绝望感,更多的是通过对个体生命在历史的沧桑变幻、时代的交替更迭中所面临的各种问题的叙述,揭示时代的症结。

Chun Jin Jiang Nan was published in August 2011, which is the final fiction of Ren Mian Tao Hua trilogy of Ge Fei. All of these fictions of Ren Mian Tao Hua , Shah He Ru Meng and Chun J in J iang Nan were written in the new century, which tell about the story respectively in early National Revolution, 1950s and 1960s and today＇s China. The author approaches the reality step by step by the laugnage that is elegant, delicate and tough, dispells the utopia of myth through the rise and fall of Hua Jia She, and shows the disillusionment of human emotion and the fatalism. Although there is little sadness and help- lessness in the lines, it＇s more different from the trilogy is showing the social problems and nihilism and sense of despair in early works. The theme of cruxes through the vicissitudes of life change of history.
