亲属称谓以其独具特色的社会文化媒介向人们传递出自身蕴藏着的巨大历史信息。通过分析、比较发现:亲属称谓能够揭示出母系血亲称谓关系早于父系血亲称谓关系;亲属称谓体现了上古时期女性的崇高地位;亲属称谓能传递出上古时期的婚俗信息;亲属称谓亦能够佐证女性地位逐步下降这一过程。研究者对亲属称谓反映母权制时期女性文化信息要有一个"度"的把握,不能一味夸大其作用,但也不能盲目否定亲属称谓自身所蕴藏的文化信息。

A lot of history information are being delivered by means of kinship terms.Kinship terms can reveal many words of mother family appellation earlier than father family appellation.And kinship terms give expression to the processes of women＇s status change.They also reflect ancient marriage custom.People should establish a correct concept to treat the history information in kinship terms.
