摘要
从21世纪初开始,大学生对掌上电子词典(PED)的占有率和使用率越来越高。但相对其他类型的词典,PED受到学者关注的程度最低,研究最少。通过访谈和问卷,对广西大学外国语学院英语专业学生使用PED的总体情况进行调查,发现PED的拥有量大、使用率高,学生购买PED的标准还不太成熟,且PED使用的策略也有待提高。为此探索学生PED使用的教育启示,建议教师有意识的给予学生系统的词典使用指导。
Since the beginning of 21st century,more and more college students owned pocket electronic dictionaries(PEDs) and used them quite often.However,compared with other types of dictionaries,PED receives less attention from scholars and researchers.The paper reveals the general picture of PED use of undergraduate English majors in Guangxi University by means of questionnaires and interviews.And it finds that PEDs are owned and used by a large number of English majors,but their purchase standards of PEDs are not mature enough,and their strategies of using PED are not good enough.Therefore,the paper explores the ways of PED use guidance,and suggests that teachers should consciously give systematic dictionary use guidance.
