My Humble Opinions on the Innovation and Development of the Local Records Cause

中共十七届六中全会提出了"建设社会主义文化强国"的战略目标。地方志事业作为社会主义文化建设的重要组成部分,在凝聚民族精神、增强中华文化软实力、建设社会主义文化强国等方面的地位更加突出、作用更加重要、任务更加艰巨。只有弘扬改革创新精神,坚持推进地方志事业的创新发展,才能不断解放和发展文化生产力,才能不断开创地方志工作的新局面,为推动地方志事业大发展、大繁荣提供强大动力。

The sixth plenary session of the 17th CCP central committee raised the strategic goal of 'constructing a socialist culturally strong nation'. The local records cause as an important component of socialist cultural construction, has a more prominent position, more important role, and more formidable tasks in uniting national spirits, strengthening the cultural soft power of the Chinese nation, and constructing a socialist culturally strong nation. Only by promoting the spirit of reform and innovation and sticking to further innovation and development of the local records cause, can we constantly liberating and developing cultural productive power, constantly entering into new phase of local records undertaking, and supplying strong driving power for the big development and big boom of the local records cause.
