摘要
小波变换在时域和频域具有良好的局部化性能 ,因而在图象压缩编码中得到广泛应用 .矢量量化则因为其压缩比大 ,原理和算法相对简单 ,成为图象压缩的又一重要方法 .采用小波变换与四元树矢量量化相结合对二维图象进行编码 .结果表明 ,该方法可以获得较高的压缩比及 PSNR.
Because of the good localization performances of both time and frequency field, wavelet transformation gets a wide use in image compression coding, on the other hand, VQ becomes an important technique of image compression for its high compression ratio and simple theory and algorithm. In this paper, an image of 2 D by a method combining the wavelet transform and the QTVQ is encoded. The result of compression coding shows that a high compression rate and PSNR are been obtained by the method.
