英语专业写作现状调查

A study on writing of English majors

对英语专业写作现状进行了调查,通过问卷的发放与收集讨论了以下问题:学生对英语写作所持态度;学生的写作习惯;学生在英语写作中的困难;学生视角下的写作教学。对数据统计分析后得出以下结论:学生虽然喜欢英语写作但学生对英语写作教学的满意度低,学习兴趣不高,对英语写作缺乏信心。学生尚未形成良好的写作习惯,有待教师在教学中有针对性地帮助其培养、加强。在写作教学中教师除训练学生语言应用能力外还应引导他们进行语篇分析,强化其体裁意识。

This paper investigates the current situation of English major students＇writing. The following four aspects are involved in the study, students＇attitudes towards writing; their writing habits; problems existing in their writing, and their opinions on teaching. Through data analysis it is found that although most English major students like writing, they are not satisfied with the effect of the course and they lack confidence when writing. The students have not cultivated good writing habits, so there is room for improvement under the help of their teachers. In class the teacher should not only help the students improve their abitity in language application but also build up their genre awareness.
