中美大学本科基础有机化学实验课程之比较与思考

A Comparison of Basic Organic Chemistry Laboratory Courses Between the Universities in China and the USA

通过对比美国圣本尼迪克学院/圣约翰大学和我国一些大学的本科基础有机化学实验课的情况,发现在基础有机化学实验教学中,双方存在较大的差异,前者有不少做法与经验值得借鉴.充分调动学生学习主动性对于学生掌握和应用所学知识具有重要作用,有利于培养学生的动手能力和独立工作能力,有利于改进本科实验课程中存在的不足.

Through a deep-going investigation of the way to give basic organic chemistry laboratory course in College of Saint Benedict and Saint John＇s University （CSB/SJU） in USA and a comparison between the universities of China and the USA in respect of this course, we have found that there are significant differences between the two countries, and some good experience of CSB/SJU is worth learning from. To promote students initiative in sthdy is important for them to manage and apply the knowledge they have learned, and it is also helpful in training their operation ability and the ability to work independently. In this paper, we try to share with oui： colleagues what we have learned, and hope that it will be useful in improving our basic organic chemistry laboratory course.
