关于什么是信息,国内外的学者们目前还没有统一的定论。日常经验理解的信息就是新消息、新内容;信息科学认为信息就是负熵,或者信息是信宿对信源不确定性的消除。这些定义都不能概括和揭示使用极其广泛的信息本质。从哲学的角度定义信息,最具影响力和被广泛讨论的观点有属性论、反映论、中介论和物质自身显示的间接存在论。科学准确的信息概念是邬焜教授的"物质自身显示的间接存在论"。

what is information？ At present the domestic and foreign scholars have not given a unified definition about information yet.As our general understanding,information means new message or new content.However information science researchers think information is negative entropy or uncertainty elimination of letter night to information originator.These definitions cannot summarize and reveal the nature of information.The most influential and widely discussed views include property,reflection,medium and indirect existing theory.In my opinion,indirect existing theory proposed by Professor Wu Kun is more scientific and accurate as compared with all the others.
