This paper presents the definition, characteristics and components of data warehouse. By the bank loan prediction example, a minute description of DM technique, method, application and the associated technique is given, and the DM in KDD is introduced. A more detailed description of the difficult point to DW is presented. DW technique provides reliable basis for the prediction of risk of loan and can gain more profits.
