摘要
近年来,随着多媒体教学手段在大学英语课堂的广泛应用,多媒体英语教学研究成为外语界关注的一个热点话题。迄今为止对该教学手段的赞誉之词多于批评,但多数观点停留在表面现象的观察,缺乏深入的反思和争鸣。多媒体是一种教学辅助手段,英语教学的实质仍在语言本身。对多媒体教学效果的盲目夸大势必会带来负面效应。本文讨论了对多媒体教学手段的认识误区,并提出合理利用多媒体的几点建议。
In recent years,multimedia teaching is a hot topic in college English teaching area with the increasing utility of mutimedia in English courses.So far,there have been more praises than critisms,however,many ideas merely touch upon the superficial level instead of conducting deep reflections.Multimedia is a means for education and the nature of English teaching still lies in language teaching.Overestimating the functions of multimedia will bring about side effects.The article discusses the misconceptions of multimedia teaching and proposes a couple of suggestions on properly using multimedia for college English teaching.
