生活陶艺的物质功能对形式的制约是客观存在的,生活陶艺的创作不能无视这种制约关系的存在,因为良好的使用功能是生活陶艺得以存在的前提。本文从生活陶艺的概念入手,阐述了生活陶艺物质功能的内容和意义,并从造型结构与装饰肌理两方面论述了生活陶艺的物质功能对形式的制约性,最后强调生活陶艺的创作一定要满足实用功能这一前提。

There objectively exists the limit of the function to the form which can not be ignored by life ceramic artist, for a good function is the base of life ceramic art. This essay begins with the concept of life ceramic art, illustrates the content and significance of physical function of life ceramic art, discusses the limit of the physical function to the form from the aspect of structure and decorative texture, and finally draws the conclusion that the life ceramic art should be based on usage.
