电磁信息痕迹作为一种重要的侦查方法,被广泛应用于刑事侦查,且发挥着越来越重要的作用。电磁信息痕迹有不同的种类,应用一种或综合应用几种电磁信息痕迹能够直接侦破案件,或者为案件侦破提供线索,或者为串并案提供依据,或者印证其他证据的真伪并服务于预审。但是,电磁信息痕迹的应用也可能侵犯公民的人身自由、财产和隐私等基本权利,因此,应用过程中必须符合法治原则的要求。

As a kind of important investigation method, the tracing of electromagnetic inlormation has been widely used in the criminal investigation, and has been playing a more and more important role. The electromagnet- ic information has different kinds which, if properly utilized, can directly crack the case, or provide clues for the case detected, or provide the basis for the incorporation of cases, or confirm the authenticity of other evidences and serve the preliminary examination. However, the citizens＇ personal freedom, fight to property and must comply with the requirements of the rule of application of the electromagnetic information may infringe upon privacy, and other basic fights, therefore, the process of applying law.
