孟浩然对陶渊明的敬慕:从前期到后期的变化

On Meng Haoran's Respect for Tao Yuanming:a Shift from the Early to the Late Stages

孟浩然一生都保持着对陶渊明的敬慕之念,但是,其敬慕态度以应试不第为分界线有前后不同的明显变化。前期,他往往把自己比作陶渊明,纯粹地表达出对陶渊明的亲密感情,以及在陶渊明式的世界中生活的怡然之情。但应试不第后,隐居故乡的生活没有了过去舒适、愉快的感觉。他明确知道了田园生活并不是自己的本怀。后期的孟浩然,在求仕的欲念与甘于隐居之间强烈动摇。为摆脱求仕不能的苦恼,他憧憬陶渊明的世界,但此世界不再是前期把自己比作陶渊明那般亲密的世界。

Meng Haoran has always respected Tao Yuanming in his lifetime,which undergoes shift with the failure at the imperial examination as the dividing line.In the early stage,he compares himself to Tao Yuanming,expressing his affinity with Tao Yuanming and pursuit for a carefree life in an idyllic place.After the failure at the imperial examination,his seclusion in hometown loses its original pleasantness and comfort.He realizes that an idyllic way of life is not in his nature.Tao Yuanming＇s world thus becomes distant and loses its charm.In the late stage,Meng Haoran vacillated between his pursuit of political position and comfort in seclusion.His aspiration for Tao Yuanming＇s world thereby becomes an escape from worldly worry and guarantees spiritual peace without the original sense of emotional affinity.
