精神发育迟滞患儿脑功能发育与大脑半球功能偏侧化的关系

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHER MENTAL FUNCTIONS AND HEMISPHERIC LATERALIZATION WITH MENTAL RETAEDATION

对249名智商(IQ)较低的患儿进行利手及脑功能发育特点的研究发现:精神发育迟滞(MR)患儿中,病理左利率甚高,且与IQ成负相关;MR患儿左右脑半球功能发育不平衡,言语功能受损程度与智力水平及年龄有关;在各种MR的致病因素中,先天因素居首位。从而说明,MR患儿的大脑半球功能偏侧化有其特殊性。利手及言语发育情况可成为新的临床指标,应用于MR的早期诊断。

The relationship between handedness and development of higher mentalfunctions was examined among 249 individuals with low IQs. It was found that(1) the rate of left-handooness was nere higher in MR subjects, and lad anegative correlation with IQ, (2) the development of hemispheric functionsvas unbalanced in MR persons, the degree of language deficit interrelated to severityof retardation and age, (3) prenatal and genetic etiologies seem to be prodemi-nate over the other etiologies on brain development. Results indicate that thecerebral lateralization has special characters to mental retardation. The handednessand verbal development can be used for early detection of mental retardation.
