Interest Rate Liberalization in Less Developed Regions and Path Selection

"十二五"期间,我国将继续稳步推进利率市场化改革,如何引导金融机构做好利率市场化的准备工作成为当前欠发达地区需要解决的重要课题。本文以贵州省为例,首先介绍了贵州省利率市场化的基本情况,然后分析贵州省利率市场化过程中存在的主要问题,最后结合实际提出了欠发达地区利率市场化的路径选择。

In ＇The Twelfth Five-Year Plan＇ period, China will continue to steadily promote the interest rate liberalization reform. For this reason, how to guide financial institutions to prepare for the interest rate liberalization has become an important issue in the less developed regions. This paper takes Guizhou province as an example. Firstly, it introduces the basic conditions of the interest rate liberalization, then analyzes the main problems existing in the process of interest rate liberalization, and finally puts forward path selection of the interest rate liberalization in less developed regions.
