美国伊利诺伊大学开发的电力系统仿真软件Power World Simulator,以潮流分析为核心,采用动画式彩色可视化技术,在给定条件下直观、生动、形象地模拟电力系统的运行状况,用户可建立、更改模型及参数,在仿真器中进行操作,从而对模型进行潮流分析、故障分析等。该软件是电力系统规划、分析等的有力工具。
