Ricci Rules and Traditional Chinese Medical Exchange

简述意大利耶稣会传教士利玛窦的生平和经历,入华后遵从中国风俗、潜心儒家思想、广交各地文人,所采用天主教儒学化的传教方式,世称"利玛窦规矩"。利氏在华二十多年的所见所闻,撰成的《利玛窦中国札记》,认为中医药简单有效,规律独到。1595年所著的《西国记法》,主张"脑主记忆",对我国传统医学"心主神明"理论,产生重大冲击。

Objective Matteo Ricci was Italian Jesuit missionary. When preaching Catholicism into China, he complied with Chinese customs, researched Confucianism, made the literati around, whose cuhural accommodation strategy was called Ricci Rules. He saw and heard more than 20 years in China, wrote into the notes：China in the sixteenth century： The Journals of Mathew Ricci. He pointed out Chinese medicine is simple, effective and unique. A Treatise on Mnemonics, which was entitled by the Matteo Ricci in 1595 ,was the first book illustrates about physiology of memory by western way in Chinese. As for traditional Chinese medical theory ＂Heart Mind＂, he advocated ＂Brain Memory＂, which bring about a significant impact.
